A beautifully glazed spiral ham with a crispy, caramelized finish. Coated with duck fat and a sweet honey–brown sugar glaze, it roasts to a rich, golden exterior with tender, flavorful slices—perfect for serving at Easter dinner. 🦆🍖
1 fully cooked spiral ham (6–8 lbs)
Cornhusker Kitchen Gourmet Duck Fat Spray
½ cup brown sugar
¼ cup honey
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ tsp black pepper
Pre-heat oven to 325°F.
Place ham cut-side down in a roasting pan and lightly coat the outside with Duck Fat Spray.
In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper.
Brush half of the glaze over the ham.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil, brush with remaining glaze, and spray lightly again with Duck Fat Spray.
Return to the oven and bake for 30 more minutes until caramelized and heated through.
Let rest 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
